Tyme Ferris – Pantheon

Tyme C. Ferris is a cannabis strategist, operator, founder, and advisor whose two-decade career has unfolded alongside the creation of the modern regulated cannabis industry. Since entering Colorado cannabis in 2006, he has built, launched, restructured, and led businesses across Colorado, Massachusetts, Vermont, California, and New York. His value is not simply longevity; it is the perspective that comes from repeatedly having to make businesses work while regulation, enforcement, technology, capital conditions, and consumer markets were still changing around them.

Ferris entered cannabis before the Cole Memo and before today’s compliance infrastructure existed. He operated through early medical markets, the transition to adult-use legalization, shifting federal enforcement priorities, §280E, and the maturation of state track-and-trace systems. At The Farm in Colorado, he helped reopen an operation in roughly 90 days after federal enforcement pressure forced a relocation, grew alongside the first generations of seed-to-sale technology through MJ Freeway, BioTrackTHC, and later Metrc, and oversaw development of the operation’s CO₂ extraction department as it became Colorado’s first commercial cannabis CO₂ extraction operator. These experiences gave Ferris firsthand knowledge of how businesses survive disruption rather than merely plan for it.

That is where Ferris is most valuable to clients: when the answer is not obvious. He advises on new-market entry, licensing-to-operation execution, facility and operating-model design, turnarounds, organizational restructuring, acquisitions and integrations, compliance systems, and strategic growth. He brings clients the perspective of someone who has already solved many of the problems they are encountering for the first time — and who understands that regulation, facilities, technology, people, capital, and market strategy have to work as one operating system.

Across his career, Ferris has contributed to 14 approved cannabis licenses, more than 40 startup and new-store launches, seven large-scale cultivation build-outs, three mergers, and the training and development of more than 1,000 cannabis employees and leaders.

Ferris served as Director of Operations for The Farm Co. in Colorado and Mayflower Medicinals in Massachusetts, and his broader work has included market launches, cultivation-facility development, operational assessments, restructurings, acquisitions, post-acquisition integrations, and executive leadership across multiple states. He has also remained active in cannabis policy and industry development, including regional leadership with the Cannabis Association of New York, advocacy around LGBTQ+ inclusion and social and economic equity, speaking engagements, and published industry commentary.

Today, Ferris is applying that accumulated experience to tymeMGMT LLC, Pantheon Collective, and Pantheon Perspective LLC, a licensed New York adult-use cannabis microbusiness. Pantheon is being built around his “One Plant” thesis, keeping adult-use cannabis and industrial hemp in distinct regulated lanes while connecting them through a broader agricultural and community-centered platform. The project is less a departure from Ferris’s consulting work than a culmination of it: an operator using two decades of lessons from changing markets to build for what comes next.
